Robert, I took my classes in person many years ago so I'm not familiar with the online options.However I do recommend that you contact the RI Association of Realtors at 401-785-3650 as they offer classes to agents and brokers and are probably familiar with which classes are acceptable for your broker application.It looks like they do have some online options, and McKissock is linked from the RIAR online training page at http://www.riareducation.com/ContinuingEd/OnlineTraining/Default.asp so that's a good sign.

That's fine if you want to do that, but extra income should be the last reason you get your license as an investor.And yes, as I suggested above, finding a successful investor and volunteering your time in exchange for on-the-job training is what I would highly recommend for any new investor.

I don't do property management and only transact all over the United States.If they are buying in Canada either associate with a commercial firm so you can get trained up or partner with a local person there with experience who can help.
