We have several buildings in Roselawn that have performed well but I would avoid most of that area. 

I’m new so forgive my ignorance.Client bought a house several years ago.Lived in it for a few years, mother got sick so he moved in with his mother to help her.The property in question has been paid off for years and vacant.

We were just hit by hurricane Irma which ripped the roof on and did severe damage to several areas inside.

Is that a loss I would be able to spread over several years for tax purposes?  

Trust holds several tax sheltered accounts (IRA, 401k). 

If NWI is an option, I know several agents that also invest. 

It is definitely possible to use the BRRRR strategy when using a VA loan but as  @Bryan O. mentioned (awesome response) there are several things to consider.

After asking for advice from some family that has done this type of work in the past and learning several different methods online i was ready to tackle the what seemed impossible tub remodel.I'm not going to bore you with all the little things that i learned that need to be done but i ended up going with the cement backerboard method.
