@Lyle CooperUnless this small building is your home or the mortgage on this building is secured by your home, you are not allowed to deduct a point in a year you pay it. 

One is in a rural area and the local authorities don't care unless there is a complaint filed, so officially illegal, but not a concern.

This grey area of filing really needs to be made more clear.

Can anyone tell me about the Affidavit of something that also has to be filed, and also once I have the signed contract can anyone give me a referral on a title company that does double closings in the Atlanta area....Hopefully this will be my first wholesale deal....I'm tired of sitting in the cheap seats....I MUST get in the game.
