Hello all, I obtained a couple one page contracts. One for the seller and one for the buyer. Is it standard practice to have the title company verify them first before I make any wholesale deals?? 

Mainly showing the property , or anything that requires seeing the property in person such as photographs , verification of contractor work etc.

What if they aren't knowingly scammers & were scammed themselves and decide to defend themselves?

I suggested giving the funds to an attorney in trust and releasing them at due time, which seems the safest way to protect myself from a scam.

Google metro detroit hard money lenders and you will have plenty of choices.....most will not be great....some will be scams....some will be totally fine.

I've read this article on the OC Register regarding an investor who would Quitclaim Deed a house with or without the actual seller deeding the property to him.

How is he getting away with this?
