I am thinking to add something like this to the lease renewal agreement:The security deposit that was deposited by the Lessee to the Lessor as part of the Original Agreement, on the day of expiration of the Original Agreement, will be held by the Lessor as a security deposit for the Renewal Term.I hope it doesn't contradict our state's highly regulated security deposit handling laws.
