This seems counter-intuitive for vacation destinations but local neighbors and hotels are putting the pressure on to eliminate them. 

I am growing tired of the pressure and stress that comes from having everything in my personal name.I am looking for quality suggestions about an awesome way to restructure things so they are no longer in my name.

While a home inspector cannot pull down drywall, they can run all the sinks/tubs/showers at once to see if water pressure is good.  

My answer is - go look at police reports in the neighborhood compared to other areas with no STR might be a way to gauge the risk.

Then gauge how much equity you have to invest.

Though it is a painful process, cold calling the direct mail list to gauge motivation is one of the most effective and best ways to get more responses.Please share your thoughts and past experiences with cold calling in the reply thread.

Sorry but I vote for letting your kid follow his own path and figure it out for himself with no pressure from you...or even well meaning input unless asked.

Yeah, after we built a rental we can better gauge about how much electricity will cost during a vacancy, also minimum water bills and trash.  

Find a good property manager who can take the pressure off and help ensure your property is well taken care of.  

Currently the seller is not signing the release form to get my 20% back I believe, in order to pressure me to go through with the sale.
