I make decent money but am interested in Real Estate and want to gradually make it my full time occupation (not sure if this will be in wholesaling on residential side or commercial but feel as though wholesaling would be a good way to get my first taste of the real estate industry).

My question is can you deduct the full interest rate charged on a cashout loan on my paid off residencebut money used to purchase a rental property.

I generally ambush someone I think to be a contractor (full cart of building materials), who looks professional and organized.

At the moment I'm VERY BLESSED to have both a full-time AND a part-time job that both pay me well and give me time for "personal" activities at work.

I don't have the cash to pay the full amount, just the 20% down payment.

Below are my thoughts to your questions-Seeking funding (brokers or creative) most likely FHAI'm sure there are many creative ways to get funding, but if you have a full time W2 job, FHA or conventional loan is probably the easiest way to go.
