Standard late fee in my area is 10%, which rent is considered late after the 5th by 5pm (end of business) , late fee is imposed and 5 day pay or quit is delivered on the 6th before noon.If rent is not paid by the end of business on the date of the pay or quit, I start my eviction paperwork and get a court date.
