hi, I just moved to Vancouver and bought/moved into a condo.

I have done everything from sheet-rock to hardwood floors to roofing and plan to fix my first properties myself with the help of my brothers until I get the ball rolling and can afford to hire contractors. 

If you have a house that needs a lot of work by one or two trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, Flooring Installer,etc.) it might be an easier flip that finding a house that needs less work but by more trades.

I'd be interested to know if they're putting in condos and/or apartments, and if so, how many, what size, what price range, etc.Thanks in advance for any info!

Had i known about the leak when it started 3 days ago I might not have been picking up the ceiling off the floor.

I know that in markets such as Orange County the cap is much higher because you can't buy a condo for 417k.

Start adding up replacement roof, hvac, water heater, appliances, flooring, siding, windows, water/sewer lines, painting, etc., and $1k a year will never cover everything that eventually need to be replaced.

buying a condo using a title agency. thoughts?
