Here are the options that I have considered with the idea that I would need to get two tenants in the building and then attempt to make the purchase and cash out the owner: Option 1Sale Price: 130kMonthly $: 1k (the owner's pmt is estimated at 2k, but this is uncertain as I haven't spoken with the owner directly).

If he says anything else, Say That you had attempted to schedule with another plumber but they were over a week out for this type of repair also, you basically had 2 plumbers on call and the first available came to do the job.

Replacing the tub entirely is usually a costly proposition and I would do it only if the tub was not functional.I am happy you had decent results, but I wasn't impressed with the DIY kit and made several attempts using different application techniques before giving up.
