Hello all from Southern Illinois

How's it goin everyone. I'm 25 and fairly new to investing in general but have been binge listening to every podcast I can get my hands on for the past several months. I recently stumbled upon BP and let me tell you, I feel like I've hit the jackpot. The first BP podcast instantly hooked me and made me wonder how I've went this long without real estate in my life. 

I'm currently in the middle of reading the UBG and taking extensive notes from each chapter, along with all the links provided within. Once I have enough scribbledeegook to make anyone's head want to explode I will attempt to layout a fairly definitive plan on how I plan on accomplishing my buy and hold strategy. 

A little about myself. I am originally from Southern Illinois. Joined the Air Force right out of high school and have been in for six years now. Recently left active duty and moved back home and have since then been struggling on deciding what I want to do with my life....until now that is. I do not plan on staying in Illinois. I hope that once I have a plan laid out or have a good enough job offer, I will eventually be able to move back out west where I belong.
