You may pay surcharges in some places and in other places again you may have 1-2 choices for service  like AC service, vs someplace like Frisco where there are probably 100 AC companies overcharging you for your business.

I am obviously stoked about this deal but also concerned about the long term implications for the economy as a whole.

Because you are smart - your concerns are very legitimate. 

Most of the issues were not concerns for me but we were still able to negotiate down the price based on the content we saw in the report.

Not always easy though with travel restrictions, busy schedules and yes Covid concerns.

Ensure you're not paying for work that hasn't been done and voice your concerns about timelines and how the GC expects to make that up to you.

Surprisingly, they also weren't concerned to learn that the property had been foreclosed and that title had transferred (I guess this was news to them!)
