One of our tenants said that Bob parks his car on our property and uses our water to wash his car.

Looking at a few parks in Florida and I was wondering how community owners handle the fact that your park could be wiped out at any time by a strong enough hurricane?

If you have a NN property where you are responsible for roof, structure, utility lines, or part of the parking lot then you can run into repair issues, etc.

There are some great deals around the plaza/ wesport areas....especially hyde park/midtown areas.

I assume that depends on the job and area but ball park would be good.

In our condo, we have to pay for snow removal and all repairs to streets and parking lots -- part of our condo fee, but it could get very expensive if you only have 5 or 6 houses to split the costs with, even more so if nobody is required to contribute as then it probably deteriorates and ruins your access.

Sounds like some tenant prospects that I have come across, both the "shopping" (looking at more than one place when they will only live in one), and the "desperate" (the moving truck is loaded with furniture and parked nearby).

Any recommendations for an exclusive buyer's agent in Chicago/Hyde Park?

Mobile homes or trailer parks as I like to call them are my next goal.

It is also considered very hands off.I think many would agree on here you could park that money in something fairly passive (SFR) and might come out better than investing in a REIT (also have more control - always a good thing).What are you looking to accomplish (investing goals)?
