Is it easy to verify if lead paint was used in a house before purchasing it?

@Ryan Ocarroll  I don't think you're going to find a quick and easy answer to your question without having a big margin for error. 

If it’s a condo, they’re usually pretty easy, older homes have problems, but depending on how you’ve got it set up, you may not run into an issue for months, so paying someone $$$ for nothing kills me.

It's relatively easy to do and guards against crazy events. 

So far my interactions with wholesalers haven’t been super awesome: ARV is way off, rehab costs are materials only, etc.

(I tried to easy the tension of what could have been a rough situation).

Are there reliable platforms to use or can you point me in the direction of the best way to do this so its easy on the renter and me as the owner/manager?
