Hello All : )

I live in California and have several properties in Kansas City area. We Recently formed an LLC for the properties in Missouri and am in the process of transferring titles over to LLC. I was looking to connect with a local accountant/ cpa in order to file the LLC's taxes? We are registered in CA as a foreign LLC and have paid the fees here.

Also was wondering if a Kansas City accountant can also do my personal CA taxes?  (my previous CA accountant was filing my state taxes in Missouri when they were personally owned last year, so I thought maybe it doesn't matter? just checking. 

Additionally, I will be in Kansas City June 12-15 ( I know, a bit of late notice) and would be great to chat in person if I find someone. If not, over email or phone is fine too.  Thanks for any input, info or advice!!   josh

Josh, what you need is an accountant who specializes working with real estate investors, instead of just local accountant in Kansas area. Such expert will be able to help you do proper tax planning, assist with tax strategies for your rental as well as your personal tax return. There are several experienced and well respected professionals here on the forum such as @Michael Plaks and @Nicholas Aiola.
