@Theo Seng, "real estate investing" has no set definition, so everyone is answering based on various personal paradigms and assumptions.Like others said, is it possible?

As a landlord agent, I've had to move to other states to get my investors what they want, and have been forced out of 4 of them already by rising prices and the few I am left in, are slowly burning out.

If it is simply the house and the tenant pays all the utilities, I personally would not charge more because you are renting them the house-not based on how many people are living there. 

I explained to her the situation and she said I was the 3rd person that shared this with her.  

I assume I can deduct it, they cant and they pay tax on the difference in interest between the primary mortgage and my personal loan with them?

In other states, attempting to "help" homeowners in foreclosure (or in imminent danger of default) can put you into the crosshairs of an attorney general or worse, a DA.I've enjoyed being part of personally exposing scammers that prey on people to strip them of the equity in their homes.

Most have left due to personal reasons and claim it's nothing to do with the house.

Its never a one sized fits all of course.Generally, a deduction today is more powerful than a deduction tomorrow with time value money and rising rates over time.

Is there anyone on here who works in this field and could tell me about the logistics of the job and your personal experience?
