It is true that during a continued downturn, even the higher paid engineers and other "white collar" workers feel the pain, but it seems anecdotally that many of these folks are renting here rather than buying since they originally hail from Texas or Louisiana.Back to the SFR or Mulitfamily market, it seems we're one of the last affordable mid-size cities in CA.

Also, be careful not let any of the bugs hitch a ride on you or your tools and equipment, as then you could transfer them from property to property.
