I plan on make money on the purchase of the property and when it comes time to sell I should make money then.With no disrespect meant, it's clear you're new to investing and you're setting yourself up for failure because you lack the requisite knowledge needed to evaluate the validity of a prospective deal.

seriously now.. i thought i was being mutually discreet by NOT requiring the SS# directly on the application, nor even charging an application fee, for my own properties (as opposed to properties i PM for).but one of today's prospective tenants who seems to meet income requirements (on paystub with SS# blotted out) has refused to provide SS#,,, to the credit bureau itself!

Inventory is a bit of a problem, but you are close enough to be able to really dig in and research the town and anything available there.I also like the prospects in Milford.In the Monadnock area where I live, some towns strike me as opportunities, others seem to have no long term future.
