I am realizing the power of leverage and creative financing for future deals.

Have a couple different companies come out and give you their numbers on a system you buy from them privately but also a leased system with their guaranteed numbers (most give you the minimum amount of power they will generate for a lease, which are usually accurate.

They get a a lot of negative press (which they should if they are not set up right), but if they are set up like Thomas is mentioning (for cash value), they are very powerful.  

I have the same question for other tools, such as lawnmowers, power tools, hand tools. 

Since the cost of living is much higher compared to Florida, you might be able to obtain greater purchasing power.

It is a powerful tool, especially for those investors working in California since it is not required to pay the franchise tax, like LLCs are.
