There's a lot of upselling--boxes, packing materials, etc. 

I'm wondering how I should calculate and break down the estimated repair costs and materials?

Depending upon the location, finishes, grades of material, etc....you could get close to $100 psf, not including any lot development, etc...

Well, it may be free for you now, but when one of those panels shatter it's going to be $200 in materials minimum to replace the whole door quickly, and you'll have to change it quickly and pay a premium for that as well.

From what I could tell, the owner was a contractor who used the leftover housing materials from work to piece together an ever growing home... one piece at a time.
