@Ron Rohrssen your process is expensive, time-consuming, and no more safe than cloud storage while providing significantly less benefit.Storing in the cloud literally takes a couple minutes, even by people in rural America.

Maintenance and taxes much higher.Compared to say something in another town I'm in where the taxes are 6% (literally HALF the tax rate even though they're in the same county) and the houses are newer (70's and 80s).And a 3/2, 1,400 sq ft home in steger is probably going to get you 1,100 to 1150.
