If the tenant will not leave voluntarily, then you need to do an eviction through the Circuit Court, obtain a court order to evict the tenant and then the Sheriff will enforce that order and remove the tenant. 

Does anyone know the zoning/code enforcement processes and timing this would trigger once I make a request like this?

@Dave Blackman The $10 you're mentioning is likely the consideration amount exchanged to make the contract enforceable, not the amount of the promissory note.

If you own the property then notify local law enforcement.
