I am looking to purchase my first home to live in one room and rent out the rest.

You can rent by room, increasing the overall rent price of a house, and as long as you screen the same way you would for any tenants, you get respectful, quiet, hard-working tenants.

It is a 4-unit in Columbus we purchased for 350k, 30yr term, 2.25%interest, cash flows a grand.

Also if you know the typical new development rent price/room around UCity, that would be great!

I understand the best way to do this may be to get a single-family home as a LTR and rent out the rooms individually.Right now I am more focused on securing a property than finding a management company to take care of it (although I should probably take care of that as well).

Hello everybody, I'm purchasing a 3 flat and I'm going to build a community laundry room, can you all recommend a washer and gas dryer?

This residency should be medium size one-story homes with enough rooms for 2-3 couples. 

Everything went as planned up through the night after the Grand Opening when suddenly the other couple disappeared and my spouse who had no real restaurant experience had to take over running it.

Or if bedrooms with small windows do not count as bedrooms , do those rooms vount as " office" rooms ?

I am pretty handy and will take down the entire center of the room and drywall if I need to.
