I cannot say I know what field of Real Estate I am looking to get into, although I have no issue getting my hands a little dirty, so fix and flip sounds slightly more interesting to me.

The closest I have gotten to the field is owning and operating a successful virtual assistant business that caters to real estate professionals.

I haven't ruled out the option of going back to work, whether in the electronics technician field or getting my RE license.

I am new to the field and  need help with the following dilemma.

Consider an environmental study due to contaminated waste and chemicals used in the medical field.

It is a field that I can be in for decades and still have things to learn, and ways to grow; all while being able to do it how I want (as long as it is legal, moral, and ethical).

It will help me get started in this field and I am hungry to start!

But investment analysis is not necessarily a “NEW” field.

The time alone allowed me to think and crunch as many numbers as i possibly could.I am 22 years old, looking for pointers, guidance, and open to any information in the field of real estate investing.

Are there any agents out there that work in Manhattan that can tell me their thoughts on the prospects for success in this field given my no experience and relatively short history as a resident in NYC.
