New to Real Estate From Austin, Texas

Hey Everyone,

My name is Ryan, I'm completely fresh to Real Estate and Austin. I'm 19 years old and moved from Washington State after I graduated high school to find something I'm interested in. I have put off my college education in fear of spending time and money on an education I do not pursue (soon to change; I'll be taking classes at my local community college this coming fall). I cannot say I know what field of Real Estate I am looking to get into, although I have no issue getting my hands a little dirty, so fix and flip sounds slightly more interesting to me. I would love to get in contact with others involved in Real Estate in the Austin area (I'm new to Austin so I don't know very many people here). I have strong connections with current Real Estate investors but I'm looking for someone closer to my situation; not having any money/new to investing. I currently work a very flexible 9-5 internship on the east side of Austin, living paycheck to paycheck. Would love to hear from some vets and new investors on here please leave a comment for any advice! Thank you!
