You don't want to charge a price that someone would pay for a unit twice the size for example.With any property I have worked with to hold for rental income I always find it is easier to use an agent or PM for the area.

Plan the space for standard size free standing appliances that can be easy changed out when necessary.In your drawing you mention "electrical box".... is that the location of the electrical panel (which would be costly to relocate) or is it an electrical outlet?

You can also see if there are obvious signs that a tank was abandoned (filled with sand or foam) in the past--like a fill or vent pipe (wide pipes going vertically up) near the basement outside, or a weird circular depression about the size of a tin can top in the concrete usually in front of the house.
