@Matthew Shay  This is a great discussion, my sister and brother-in-law rent mobile homes outside of the Houston area and make very good ROI from it.

If the two contracts are entirely separate you should be able to evict on the lease as normal.An alternative you might want to discuss with your lawyer is selling the Right of First Offer instead of an Option.

This is just a general question, but I see it discussed on here a lot that your rental properties are under a different insurance company than your primary residence (and other items) because usually your main insurance companies aren't great with investment insurance.
