For foreign investors, I tell them to set a price range and start looking into cities that:-Experiencing steady growth-Have well diversified economic basis' (tourism, energy, tech, etc.)That's pretty much it.

You may also get a home energy tax credit. 

This gives me a better idea of where and where not to focus my energy!

In truth - I have only started to really compare the two quotes: window quality, Energy star ratings, installation process etc. 

I don't want to spend time and energy getting this appraiser in trouble if it doesn't help my deal. 

I've looked into this and found an interesting read about how Tesla/Solar City is a threat to utilities because you can use a Solar Roof/Solar City installation and a Tesla Powerwall battery to store excess energy and sell it back to utilties.

Lots of great energy to get out there and make it happen!

That is a tough bullet to take for plaintiff, as the attorney fees will cost more than that lien interest, and would have been covered by defendant.

There is no one "silver bullet" that will get you a deal/listing.
