Our Texas county got 60” of rain in a weekend, the levees north of us breached and the storm surge in the gulf south of us didn’t allow it to drain.

The house is part of a fairly extensive residential development from the 1930’s and has a prime location on the block with private driveway and full attic.

Sorry for the dumb question, but does the chrome cover have to be off in order for the overflow drain to work? 

Contractors don't like that either for the inherent fire risk.So unless someone is in the 0.01% financially and really wants to be the cool kid on the block, traditional solar represents a vastly better solution.
