I haven't read the Supreme Court decision but based on the article and the linked Complaint it appears the NJ attorney is bootstrapping on a US Supreme Court decision based on a MN law that allows MN counties to keep any overage if property sell for more than the tax debt at a tax deed sale.

Im located in Phx,Az and helping my father buy a home to live in, he is a cash buyer has disposable -$250000 and can get additional loan but prefer not to, he is basically looking in Phx and surrounding areas residential home, 8k sqft + lot, 1k sqft+ home, 2brd +, in livable condition from get go, nothing south of camelback rd.We been doing it wrong so far, i have access to MLS and just been looking for good deals, next step is to work with a good RE agent and be specific with what we want, I know there are good deals out there fitting my fathers description because i seen sold RE in MLS , the thing is where to find these deals as by the time they hit MLS they are gone.
