Ive been reading about SEP IRS self directed IRA and 401 k but seems to be for self employed people. any idea how to re-allocate my ira into real estate investments??? 

The further away you are the harder it gets and the more units you acquire the harder it gets. 

I am at a stage where I can make 2 separate units as the lot is zoned multi unit. 

I have one myself that I funded after selling my SF home and once I set up my policy, I took a low, simple interest (5.5% for me) loan that I then used to purchase a 4 unit MF; now I'm using it to fund the renovations.

Does anyone have any recommendations for financing a property that consists of a single family home, a self storage unit and a manufactured home?

Hi All, I have a few large garages attached to a small apartment building which are allowed for storage uses.

Plan is to add two additional units to the bottom floor and remodel the upstairs unit. 

I did fall into the trap of looking outside of Utah, and I still have one of those deals in my portfolio, but the equity position on my units here are substantially better.

After renovating and renting three of the units (while living in the 4th unit), I am wanting to refinance to pull out some equity and lower the interest rate. 

Typically when it comes to housing you'll want to stick to 3-story garden style without elevators and 18-24 units per building.
