So towns in California like Torrance, Roseville, Fullerton, Visalia, Victorville, Santa Clara, Simi Valley, Concord, Corona, Hayward, Modesto...would all be close to the same population and so much closer to you.

I specifically chose the target area back in 2013 because I knew that the tax-increment financing deal to build the Waterfront, a gigantic shopping and entertainment complex erected on the site of the former Homestead Works, would run out in 2018 and the municipalities I've mentioned, West Homestead, Homestead, Munhall, and the school district of the area, Steel Valley, would all receive massive bumps in their funding.

The Canadian tariff made money elsewhere in the lumber production business, probably the mill operators and retail levels, but not for landowners. another brilliant point Sir.... our dimensional lumber has sky rocketed but delivered log has lagged and harvest prices ( logging has gone up) there by squeezing log owner profits.. in our area guys have tried the faster growing types of wood with mixed results and in the North Sacramento valley vast plantations of fst growing Eucalyptus have been planted with mix results..

Some areas that still allow: Palm Springs (if the HOA has not hit the cap), Indio, Desert Hot Springs, Big Bear, Palm Desert has some HOAs that allow it, La Quinta has some HOAs that allow STRs, Yucca Valley, and some other local areas.
