The more knowledge you have about an investment alternative, the less diversity you need (and vice versa). 

We've sprawled our way to all kinds of infrastructure, environmental, and financial problems and if we don't frontier an alternative, my children and grandchildren will be left picking up the pieces.

You, in turn, have the right to seek alternate living arrangements.

My young inexperienced brain never thought to do that, I wish I would have done it many years sooner.I also thought it would be cool to buy a brand new truck in 2013, in hindsight I would have just kept driving the perfectly fine car I had that was paid off and bought another property instead of the truck.My advice to young inspiring investors is: delay gratificationLive cheap and stay tight wait until you’re 40-50 to enjoy the fruits of your investments

Thats not going to happen: from there I started to look at alternative means of acquiring the duplex and I found contract for deed option.

Have you looked for the Craigslist Alternatives, of which there are a few?

About 6 months ago I was blessed with an opportunity to get started as a self employed truck driver, making roughly 6k-10k per month depending how hard I work.

We will be able to save a down payment in about a year and probably truly begin our search from there.If that is the case, can anyone advise or suggest . any alternative plans to purchasing real estate without a traditional W-2 job?
