First steps on finding a buyer and closing?

Hi All,After being a basic member of BP since March 2018 and listening to podcasts, webinars and reading BP articles, finally I took the next step, i.e. became a PRO member yesterday. 

employees give mixed opinions (alot).one supervisor said they own the whole box, but someone owns a house and i get political flyers left on the door step alot and church things..thx, (p.s., this question does not ask about placing Inside a mailbox, thats already known, or the default opinion: no, .....lol...)

Do I step out for the experience and to get started, get a line of credit to cover emergencies, wait for "something better", etc? 

You can then be more confident in knowing that the steps you are taking are ultimately in an area that you enjoy and can envision personal fulfillment in.

What steps would one follow to move ahead ? 

Also are there ways or steps you can take to mitigate the downsides of high crime areas?

I know that this will be the eventual next step in the process but I want to know if I may be getting ahead of myself?
