I screen heavily and only place tenants that meet all minimum requirements and don't strike me as someone that will be a total pain in the *** down the road (pain in the *** tenants are not a protected class!).

So I'll be faced with some guy who has 20 convictions for stupid stuff, and I'm meant to say "hey, he paid his debt to society", yet the reality is that he's been a pain in the *** for most of his life and will probably continue to be until he does something serious enough to warrant a proper prison sentence.And I'm meant to - with a straight face - say "well I would love you to be one of my tenants".

@John Van Uytven the meeting with the attorney went very well, and I'll be using him for much of what I do, he however did not care for land trusts and called them "a pain in the ***".

And I hear scheduling things like a doctor appointment can be a pain as an auditor.I definitely do not think tax personnel are just "handed a file" to prepare a return.
