It also seems likely that any future changes to these policies will come with a grandfather clause.I have looked at STR in Southern Pines zoning ordinance and while it does not state a minimum lease length, It permits the operation of a Bed an Breakfast (with conditions), but it also specifically defines a BNB as being the primary dwelling of the owner.I too would expect a wave of ordinance through areas where STRs are becoming popular.
