I have had more usual luck with the local "free" newspaper anyone can pick up most places.

They will pick up one in LA and close it out at home in Game 6.

I ocasionally pick up REO's to rehab and sell.

Just get a good attorney to look over your contracts and pick them apart.I have bought properties on Option, Contracted a buyer......both sign cont that say they will sign all neccessary contracts to complete the transaction with the end buyer.

I rent for now... am hoping to accumulate some dough so I can do some REI (picked that up from lurking here for a little while).

Generally you learn this by doing, but there may be a class in your local JuCo on RE that agents can use for their continuing education.

It seems low maintenance- just book the times- take the calls and have someone collect- I would probably have to pay someone to pick up checks and take calls- i.e. answering services.
