Her opinion was a purchase and sale agreement gave equitable interest, while an option did not.I didn't ask at the time, but I'm thinking the reasoning is because a Purchase and Sale agreement obligates both parties, while an option only obligates one.In Ohio, any contract can be assigned, unless the contract itself prohibits assignment.
