We also don't push rents to the absolute max and rather optimize towards finding really great tenants that stay long term. 

Recommendations can be short-term uses to bring in revenue while considering long-term plans.The land costs almost nothing to own, so selling is an option but I would much prefer to keep it and generate income from it.

If the foreclosure occurred a long time ago, the foreclosed debt doesn't have collateral and therefore the debt should be unsecured?

SoTaxes will go up, but depends on how long previous owner owned it.

This is a great long term assets with many complicated possible scenarios.
