It is quite morbid to look out your front window, or to go outside for any reason and to see a funeral home each time (and everything that comes with it: hearses, coffins, distraught family/friends, toxic chemicals used for embalming, possible traffic issues with funeral processions from 4 funeral homes on same street etc.).

This allows them to see what I call "time accumulated " problems such as a congregation of faded playground equipment in the yard, people consistently parking in the front yard, overhanging trees, any trauma that the resident didn't volunteer such as a banged garage, broken and taped up window, etc...Ask @Eric Odum about possibly other property managers in the area.

While not in the same category as a good fibreglass window (< 0.90 W/m^2K), 0.15 Btu/ft^2), a good triple-glazed vinyl window will be in the vicinity of 1.35W/M^2K, 0.23 Btu/ft^2.

One example recently is at 2 different properties home passed with no carbon or smoke in kitchen was told not needed as it wasnt required just needs to be outside kitchen and same location has boarded windows in basement only no violation but another location different inspector wants a carbon and smoke inside kitchen even when directly in next room and also wants natural light in basement because windows are boarded.
