Funny I was thinking of doing a crazy travel trip around the world as well and decided id be better off investing and building wealth that will allow me freedom to travel down the road in the future.

So you've got a dream: financial freedom.

I always knew I wanted my own business, I always knew I wanted financial freedom, but I didn’t always know how to get there.

thanks for keeping us all in the loop of your progress. i'm also a wholesaling newbie (and also in health care!). 

The goal is to build an LLC with a good rental property portfolio and use the cash flow to pay off our student loans, and then once those are gone and any other outstanding debts are paid in full (car, etc) begin to focus completely on growing the business and building financial freedom.  

The 10 year treasury has reached highs not seen since 2014 recently.Also, there are a few sectors within REITS hurting for certain specific reasons, retail because of the 'Retail Apocalypse' non-sense and health care because of fears of government spending cuts.Personally, I'm using the weakness to buy REITS because they historically perform well during periods of higher interest rates due to the rent growth it allows.
