Hello, I own 3 student rentals and have since decided to pursue another avenue in investing.

I'm currently a Junior in college pursing a useless degree in Acting. My parents refuse to let me drop out because they want me to get a degree which is fine. I just wish I could get it in something else and scholarsh...

I evaluated all my student loans and found it saves me a few hundred dollars and a few months over 6 years of paying them to pay off the highest interest loans first then move that "cashflow" to lower interest loans.

I like the student rental concept, but am weary of the geography of the area.  

Like most of young professionals, I've been paying off student loan and maxing out my 401k & IRA account, really don't have much cash sitting around.

It was certainly life enhancing to find the Bigger Pockets podcast, and equally so to find they had a website as well!  

Middletown is great especially with Wesleyan there and the student market you could capture with a multi.Wishing you much success on your endeavors!

If you're hoping to rent to students, I doubt they will want to pay the extra rent for it.
