That's why so many of them are running that scam where they will pay for the student's training if they actually do a deal.

Know your materials, your contracts and methods as well as the basic areas that you will encounter.

While I probably would never go back and do it again (cost of college is a complete scam), I don't regret my education or all of the hard work, time, and money that got me to here.

@Sean Doherty unfortunately I have not done it either, but I know it is an uphill battle, it's not impossible but the general rule is that if you want to downsize (turn a 4 family into a 3) it's easy, if you want to add a unit it's more difficult, and I know a lot of inspectors really don't like basement units so they are tough on permits & inspections.Like @Christian Allen I usually only encounter sprinklers on higher #s of units.
