I've been looking at the pre-foreclosures and foreclosures on the BiggerPockets Marketplace, but haven't scheduled any viewings or called about any of the properties to find out the condition they are in or any repairs that may be needed.

While we hope to someday go for students to get the higher income they bring, we want to start by seeing if we can get a family in the upstairs unit of one 2-family - especially given the nicely renovated condition and unusual combination of central location linked to top suburban school district as a possible attractor.Being new to this, I've spent the past few days reading a lot of info on this site to get educated on the rental process - very helpful.

She, or the guy that is buying the house, listed the house on the MLS for 550,000.00, with no information on the house, a ridiculous picture, and listed it in neighboring, less popular city, so there would be no competition.
