So, need to know what was pulled back or the cause of the backup before any decisions can be made.But, if they are putting things down that don't go down you should tell them you got this one, the rest will be on them, give them a warning, get a report from the plumber that says exactly what it was and that is is cleaned out now so you know the next time if the same stuff gets in its theirs.

I can do most of it remotely, but there are times where I really need someone on the ground to run an errand for me, like meet the utility company and show them where the trees need trimming near the power lines, to drain the water heater, etc.

I do have a CPA that handles all our taxes.If you are providing services, like tours, cooking meals, driving folks around, cleaning during the guests stay, then you will fall under schedule C and pay the taxes.Leaving things for folks like a welcome basket, coffee, bikes etc does not do this.
