Hello,We are looking to buy STR/Storage pole barn for $275,000.

We're finally feeling settled enough to buy our first property.

I am very new to REI and would like to know if this is a great opportunity to buy in an up and coming area or if the residential properties will negatively impact my ability to rent out my other unit.

The structure doesn't really matter at this stage and unless you have cash, you won't be buying in an LLC unless you utilize commercial loans, as you said, like DSCR, but you will be putting 20-30 percent down to get those loans.You are bit feet ahead of head here, excited, but focused on the wrong things.

Do you have any idea if there is a loan product in the US given to an LLC, not necesarily to buy real estate, but maybe capital to invest in your business.

Do you guys think it's necessary to buy another washer and dryer when the other tenant comes in or just share ours?

Buying your own home and buying an investment property has nothing to do with eachother, other than they are both  houses. 

The area offers higher-end flips but comes with a higher buy-in cost.

Buy a property that needs work.
