Although if you really want to be an agent full time, joining a successful motivated team is probably the best thing you can do - meet with several different teams with a few different brokers to see who you feel most comfortable with.

I have only found one successful person that reads their own email.

I have joined “ success groups” before and wasnt very satisfied.

Quite frankly, I haven’t been very successful at that.

Lots of great information on here as well as the podcasts.LA native here and would like to invest in the SoCal area, I'm also looking to go to some meet-ups and connect with investors, let me know if you've had any success so far with that.
