I never enjoyed it and I told myself for years, “I will never do this when I get older.”...The best part about having your own business is you can decide to hire / outsource those activities that you dislike.

I have enjoyed reading all of the posts already, so I am happy to be a part of it.

I'm not unrealistic and I'm happy for others to enjoy some successes along the way, but if the contractor netted the same as I do, with no skin in the game or risk I would not be extatic.

For one, it's not worth not enjoying where you live just because you want to invest there.

In terms of immediate acquisitions, I would get a 2,3,4plex and rent to other students to see how you enjoy land lording.

I actually enjoy driving around and looking at properties to fix up.

Some people enjoy helping others and some people enjoy teaching.

I also enjoy learning mathematical concepts (the actual math part not so much).I competed in Speech (Extemporaneous) and took several Law, Public Speaking, and Debate classes.Athletics has always been a passion of mine; in highschool I competed in XC, Wrestling, and Track and Field.

I've enjoyed it so far, and gives my tenants (and sometimes myself) a little extra cash in our pockets..
