Anyone out there using Rent App and, if so, any feedback on your experience to date? 

Tell the family member that this was an investment to help pay for your son's college and right now you are losing money as rent is lower than the mortgage and HOA, so you are selling it. 

So it would help to know the specific numbers and exact property you are considering so we can help you identify what numbers may be input incorrectly. 

Also, who is to say you can't find a steadily appreciating multifamily in your area to buy and then use that income to help you move out to the front range and begin your real estate education out here?
