Texas has a very large protection statute for your home, which would essentially shield your investment; in other words, if this person did sue you, and got a large judgement which you could not reasonably pay, you would declare bankruptcy and wipe the debt.Of course, if you truly believe a lawsuit is imminent and will be pursued, you should absolutely consult an attorney.

Also, it needs to show the buyer as the owner of record, so she can get into a payment plan with Wayne County for back taxes... this is what the tax department advised me.So how do I have her own it, but I still hold the deed until it is paid-off... like legally how do I word that... or who should I hire have draft this?
